I believe in the mental health community and am passionate about helping the poorest communities using approaches such as psychotherapy,behavioural thus helping them to cope up and restore hope.

I am a professional registered counsellor and a member of Uganda Counselling Association with a background in MHPSS ,protectection,promotion of resilience ,stakeholder partnership and community engagements in dialogues , training and sensitization.

At Afrislum, I commit myself to training expert clients on CBT, providing psychosocial counselling to HIV clients living in the poorest urban communities in Uganda and spreading psychosocial awareness to these communities in order to improve their mental health..

I came to Afrislum from a mental health and psychosocial background. For the last six years I have been engaged in counselling clients experiencing psychological distress and making frequent follow ups on the assessed clients,HCT and ART,FP,GBV,Malaria, Nutrition ,Social and behavioural change,VMMC,EMTCT , conducting dialogues on peace building and peaceful co-existence and promotion of resilience. I am passionate about helping through talk therapy and I feel so happy when I restore hope and put a smile on someone's face.
