I believe that mental health is an essential aspect of overall well being and should be given the same attention and care as physical health.

I am a counselling psychologist,with a background training in clinical counselling psychology,
mental health facility based counselling and HIV counselling.

At Afrislum, I spend my time designing the CBT sessions and reviewing the CBT MODEL for HIV self-stigma, and at the same time working as a research assistant. I'm passionate about mental health education and my dedication to promoting mental wellness extends beyond therapy rooms.

I came to Afrislum with a background in fashion and design and HIV counselling. Over the course of years I have been training and supervising the expert clients(lay counsellors)from selected health centre III’s and IV’S in Kampala District on how to deliver Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)group sessions to treat HIV self stigma where we created a safe and non judgemental space where clients could explore thoughts and emotions openly. I'm dedicated to helping young positive mothers to navigate life challenges and achieve emotional well being. I also love spending time with my family.
